Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is specifically designed to improve facial appearance by reducing fine lines and wrinkles, toning sagging face muscles, and rejuvenating dull, lifeless, or aging skin. Through the micro-stimulation of points on the face, natural collagen and elastin production is built up. This leaves the face more supple and smooth, while minimizing lines and wrinkles. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture can also be used to treat acne.
Your practitioner will combine body needling & face needling, a mask, LED lighting, a facial toning device that uses microcurrent technology + gua sha.

It was NASA that discovered the power of LEDs, first from the light’s capacity to grow plants in space, and then from their ability to help astronauts heal while in zero gravity. Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are now widely used in medical communities to accelerate wound healing, and have recently been recognised for their cosmetic benefits.

This treatment utilises LED therapy for 30 minutes during the rest period of the acupuncture, allowing the light to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin for plumper, firmer, brighter skin, while the needles work their magic on your muscles and meridians.

Our Celluma Pro device (FDA-cleared and recognised as one of the best in the industry) employs blue, red and near-infrared light to kill acne-causing bacteria, improve circulation, quicken tissue repair and decrease inflammation.
First Session
During the intake your practitioner will ask you about your concerns and goals for your treatment. You will then be asked targeted questions to help determine what other internal imbalances you might have.

Once your TCM pattern is determined, very fine needles will be inserted into points on your body as well as your face. Needles will be placed in fine lines and wrinkles causing a natural production of collagen which creates a softening of lines and wrinkles.

After resting with the needles & LED for 30minutes your acupuncturist will remove the needles and perform a brief microcurrent facial & jade gua sha.
How many treatments are needed?
Visible results can be seen after the first treatment. Long lasting changes generally occur with a series of 10-12 sessions. We recommend beginning with acupuncture facial treatments 1-2 times a week.
Pricing
Facial Acupuncture Session: $160

Duration of treatment is 1 hour 15 minutes, but allow for one hour and 30 minutes. After your consultation you will be given a treatment plan with a recommendation of how often you should come in for treatment based on your treatment goals and your specific condition.
